No adults in sight right now and you can barely see the egg under all the grass. Someone better be close by!

I'll bet they are very close by. Maybe not wanting to fully incubate until the clutch is complete . . . ?

Chris & Peggy on the Maine forum did a video - they think she laid a second egg ... but I haven't seen 2 eggs yet. I did see the nest empty this morning but couldn't see the eggs in all the fluff.

Hmmm... I'm still not convinced. I think last night would have been just a tad too early, but maybe not. I'll just have to keep watching to see 2.

Oh my! Looks like the egg cup is nice and dry though. Last year this nest had 3 eggs, so maybe another one will come tomorrow . . . ?

I didn't have too much luck getting a look at the eggs today. They were covering them up good in that snow.

They were getting more snow today. Took these from the gallery. The cams were screwed up today. The overhead view was actually the side view and the overhead view cam wouldn't work for me. Still 2 eggs.

Approx. 8:50 a.m. nest time -- up for a stretch:

I thought this was a cute pose . . .

But then I realized she was watching something and seemed to be alarmed, flapped her wings and is now like this:
