New cam with sound.....I had to install VLC media player & then click open network & type in mms://dvori.info:1234

Was a bit frustrating but worth it!!!!!!! I think there are other ways to get it, but this is the only one that worked for me.

Thanks, all, for the great stork pictures . . . I really liked the storks in the snowy nest in Droonesa.

When do the storks usually start laying eggs? I can't remember (or maybe I never knew).
:?

Storks begin to lay eggs in the second part of April. The female broods the eggs for 33-34 days. The first nestlings hatch around the 20th of May and they usually leave a nest at the end of July. Storks are carnivores, they eat small invertebrates and tiny mammals as well. They also hunt for rodents, moles, nestling of other bird species, fish and other amphibians. The structure of food depends mainly on spatial and periodical diversity of a specific food type.

This is data for Poland........

Thanks, jjop, for posting the stork nesting and eating info. Sounds like we still have two months to go before we'll see any stork eggs though . . . I was hoping it would be sooner.
