People are asking if M15 may also be in the area injured. Without looking up, I think Ozzie has been missing approx 2 > days than M15.

Someone is reporting this lady lives within 1-2 miles of nest. Also, the injured talon is infested with "bugs". Hope we can see something official per CROW or from this lady per CROW soon!

:girlsad3: Unbelievable!!! The posts to the left-sided column have been removed. Some posts are showing up on right-sided column @ bottom of comments to last article posted. But, they do not seem to be the same players.

Okay, here you go:
Sep 27 2015, 7:38 PM
Essec09: An eagle was rescued this evening in North Fort Myers. SWFEC will post information on the Facebook page when more information is available through CROW. Thank you for your comments and concern.

People are saying SWFEC must have thought "out of control" on website.

And from 2 minutes ago:
The Southwest Florida Eagle Cam was informed this evening that an injured eagle was found in N. Fort Myers. It is currently en route to CROW - Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife, Inc. and we will await an official response from them on identification of the eagle. We are confident CROW will provide the best care possible to this injured raptor.
We know everyone is worried and concerned but to cut down on rumors and miss-information we have disabled "Visitor Posting" on our page. It will re-open in the future.
Thanks for your patience and understanding as we work to get all the facts together.

Wow. I was afraid of this. Sometimes hard to accept nature. Ozzie is in good hands. Hoping the best for M-15 too. Thank you for the updates.

CROW - Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife, Inc.

Ozzie, CROW's former patient and star of the Southwest Florida Eagle Cam, arrived at CROW late last night with injuries. He will be receiving a physical examniation later this morning and we will provide a detailed update early this afternoon. Thanks for your patience.

From SWF Eagle Cam a few minutes ago:

Thanks to all our viewers for your concern and thought over the past 24 hours. Oz-man is in the great care of CROW - Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife, Inc. and we will work with them over the coming weeks to update everyone on his recovery plan & progress.
As we work to install the cams this week and prep for the upcoming nesting season, we look forward to a great year and all the adventures that lie ahead for Harriet & the SWFL eagle community.
We will now re-open "visitor posting". We ask everyone to be kind, respectful and understanding and remember this is a volunteer project and we strive to do the best we can each and everyday.
