With egg laying time only 4-5 weeks away Romeo & Juliet have been busy on the nest.

They have also been busy strengthening their relationship with more mating and bonding.

Romeo & Juliet spent a lot of time in and around the nest this afternoon.
Bid sticks that did not want to stay in place and moss that had a mind of its own
and followed them up on a branch and Juliet enjoyed fish for one in the nest.

AEF-NEFL Eagles 10-24-15 Another Long Visit From Juvie ~ Dual Cam View

Our young Juvenile that visited yesterday returned for another long visit today.

After catching it's breath on the nest it perched on the lookout branch

for a long period before finally leaving.

AEF-NEFL Eagles 10-24-15 Romantic Dinner Date :flirty:

Romeo & Juliet came to the nest shortly before 4:00 this afternoon to enjoy a meal (Juliet ate a fish)
and some romantic bonding/mating.
After mating they enjoyed some beaky time and remained perched together before leaving.

With egg laying just around the corner (could be as early as 1st week of Nov)

Romeo & Juliet have spent a lot of time bonding & mating -

tonight was not different as they bonded/mated and perched for the evening in the nest tree.
