Currently On The Nest:Harriet and M15 perched overnight in the nest tree.
They began their morning with vocals and some nestorating.
Another early flight away from the nest tree for both.
M15 delivered and ate a fish at 11:33 a.m.

11.46 am Strong wind.

Harriet and M15 were perched so close together overnight, it looked like one Eagle.

M15 brought several sticks this morning and nestorations were done.

Both are in and out of the tree this morning.

A Flurry Of Sticks Then M15 Flies~Harriet Stays At The Nest 11-25-15
M15 brought five sticks and placed them while Harriet vocalized and watched. Harriet kept watch while M15 was away two hours and alerted to a peregrine falcon in the pasture. Harriet and M15 work well together, Ozzie.

I reviewed the Hancock forum posts from last year for the day prior to and the day of Harriet's laying egg #1 (November 19, 2014). Even though Oz has been replaced by M15, Harriet is still 'running the show...' Last year, there was a marked increase in food gifts brought to the nest, fluffy nestoration stuff brought by both, Harriet hanging around nest (and attic and upper branches), and LOTS and LOTS of mating. There seemed to be at least 1 false alarm re egg-laying. So, maybe we have a couple more days to go - but I'm betting we DO have eaglets to watch this year! Fingers crossed!
