I do not know when egg laying starts here but I think soon. Blair spent night on branch and it is snowing htere right now, quite hard, and she is on branch

I just remember her last year incubating in the snow.

cannot get PB to work but Blair spends night on branch again. attempted mating today but wind blew Taylor off :sum5:

soon so I hope conditions improve

my take is it could just have collided with something. It is very windy and possibly got blown into something or hit something in the night. It does not appear too bad. He did lay down for a bit and seemed a bit wobbly but has since brought in new nest materials so...

will remain optimistic as everything has been going well.

darn - I saw that this morning (there was also a little bit of red at 3:00 and 6:00 on the nest) - I thought all of it was from prey.
Really hoping for a good - no make that GREAT - year at this nest.
