dad brought in some coot , I think , earlier

dad goes to incubate while mom feeds

will post a few photos later but mom came on nest and rearranged it. Time must be near. she really rooted in the straw , moved branches etc.

They posted it is day 33 and officially on pip watch! And saw on FB they had fishing line in this nest or excuse me they refer to it as the Cage Center BE nest???.

RE: Cage center? The nest tree is located behind and to the left of the Cage Center, which is the huge athletic/student recreation center for the campus. Berry has set up a very nice observation section adjacent to the Cage Center parking lot.

I'm glad I didn't know about the fishing line in the nest last year or I would have obsessed. I sure hope there isn't any currently in the nest!!

I just caught a switch. No sign of a pip, but I didn't have time to go full screen for a better look...Checking my pics now..

I think we have a pip...I went back into the DVR and found some interesting footage around 8:27 am...however, the cam has been very jerky, at least for me...so hard to tell if it was an actual pip or jerkiness of the cam...

so hard to tell They are not very cooperative and when they are off eggs, light is not good. But I would not be surprised. I got up in middle of night, and turned cam on and mom was rolling and rooting in nest for quite a while. So she definitely was hearing something. Well I say definitely but more a maybe :10val:
