Wow Nancy... that squirrel did not last long. Is that a "mini-bonk" by baby B in the background at 28-29 sec into Freddie's video? I must say, not too threatening. The other chick didn't even face plant. These kids are so well behaved! :loveheart2:

Mom really could use a day at the salon. :teehee:

I've been checking on these guys throughout the evening...heavy rain is headed their way. I think the more severe weather will be south of the area...but, they still could have brief heavy downpours and strong winds, especially after midnight. This same system is also drenching some of the TN nests.

They may start drying out late Wednesday, but who knows...Calling for 1-3 inches of rain.

The rest of the week looks good, but will be cooler!!

I have recorder on and just come and run it every once in awhile

a while ago mom was not happy about something . she was calling and tracking. Dad came in and was tracking also. It took a bit for her to settle down

some bonking during feeds but all appears well. WE need some sun, and less wind. It should lull the kids to sleep :zzzzz

another feeding. Dad was here a lot today.
mom pulled fish from under straw a few times today. There was squirrel also.

I think dad needs to hunt again. Lol He was telling mom , no more shopping till you use some of this up. mom having nice feed also . She uses everything

I watched a feed early this afternoon. Not one bonk! One chick got whacked on the back with a wing by its sibling and face-planted. It was not an intentional "bonk" and the chick stayed down for all of 5 seconds...lol. These kids are so well fed and very satisfied. They easily feed side by side. Such a pleasure to watch. Great parents!
