I checked the DVR...It really didn't go back far, but they had this strange mystery meat feed..the kids just stared at it..hee hee

There was also a really good poop shot (can't remember the time) on the DVR, so they're eating something!!

Somebody on FB posted a vid of a feed (or the end of a feed) from around noon today..the feed wasn't the reason for the vid but rather the eaglets reaction to the emergency broadcast..LOL

They never hunt well during rain...this weekend should be dry but cooler...

I was just coming to post that feed. tha twas actually first fresh feed except for a small morsel dad brought tin

But I was glad to see that

adult came in and dug out this leftover form yesterday and took it up and fed the wee bite

More mystery meat this morning

There was also an intruder~not sure of the variety...since there isn't a time stamp on the Approach cam, I didn't spend a whole lot of time looking for anything..cute how the kids go into statue mode!!

o.k. here is video of intruder . turn sound off ( falocn calling :egg13:

) and put full screen. dad flies up , you can see mom come in on left branch and something to right lower side fly . dad is in and out. He seems to come up from bottom

I watched 3 times.dad came in at about 11 mark then look at about 43 mark. mom comes to left branch
so dad flies onto nest at back. mom goes up to branch,about 43 mark, but as intruder is flying up back, mom jumps into nest and dad flies off. then dad comes back

I do not think eagle, maybe heron, wings were big but narrow. it seemed to fly up and above tree , are there herons in area
it was hard to figure out but I am half asleep

~12 noon - It is such a marvel how fast these kids grow up. All looking good and calm on a nice day in Georgia. :egg19:

Finally got around to checking on these guys...and they had reset the cam..LOL

based on the comments on FB, they had at least 2 feeds today: fish and squirrel...apparently, the fish was a parent toss. The kids must have been clueless as the FB poster said that mom took it back and started a feed..

on Sunday there was a immature eagle intruder. It was on a lower branch and would nto go away. then it went onto a branch beside nest. Mom was really stressed. But dad came in with feed and chased it away

Monday. Lots of nice feeds today, Will try to watch more closely tomorrow but was doing my rounds at my sites

I have DVR recording as real time

there was food yesterday but B7 is not aggressive enough. she will have to learn , but I think she gets enough.

so far today

a feed B7 seemed to get enough as B6 grabbed h9s won LOL

will post a video later of the grab as dad came in LOl B6 grabbed a piece and was eating on his won so B7 got quite a bit before he came back in to feed

I want to try and get wing action

there have been 2 more feeds that I have seen. B7 goes submissive every time . she needs to step up. It is there is she wants. B6 eating again. Will post pictures later

but having said this, E6 did attack D7 yesterday and E7 backed up to edge of nest with wings up and nearly got knocked off. when food is scarcer B6 gets very aggressive,

I owuld like to B7 give hm a good knock soon.
DAd is looking for more food for B7 but she remains submissive. she needs to show her stuff is she will do well in the big world

Mom's in with the kids...we've had some pretty bad storms moving through...and they had quite a severe storm that moved south of them, thank goodness...(high winds and hail) It could be stormy on/off all through the night...

8:20 pm - The kiddies looked quite content this evening, laying side by side. They were beaking, playing with sticks, and one of them kept putting straw on the back of its sibling...lol. Too cute. :flirty:
