Genoa....I hope this cam holds up...its great!!

I'm almost positive this is Peta (b/r 32/V) If the "V" turns out to be a "Y"..32/Y is in the Data base..(the cam was so bad last year, it was really hard to read bands. Shouldn't be too hard this year)

She left and he came into the box...I couldn't read the bands, so I'm not sure if this is Lucas..who is b/g..

She flew up and he wasted no time getting outta the box..Either her enthusiasm scared the you know what outta him or they don't know each other and this is not Lucas..

and then she expressed her displeasure at him leaving...(when this pic is enlarged, you can see the 32/V...or I guess it could be 32/Y...hopefully we'll get some really good zooms to verify!!)

Unfortunately, the baby in the front was in crisis. Piece of food was too big and it couldn't swallow it or spit it out...it tried and tried and tried. Mom didn't notice and started to brood. it tried several times to crawl out from under her, trying to spit the food out..and was unsuccessful. I hope it is ok...but, I don't know...really the first time I have seen chick unable to swallow or spit the food back out...usually the parent notices and grabs it...but that didn't happen this time..I'm a tad worried..
