These are tough birds but when you watch them get covered
so fast and they don't move because of the eggs

It really is too hard to watch. :cry: But we should remember how the Shepherdstown eagles survived and try to think positively. (Easier said than done.)

It looks like a pretty good partnership going here Kitten. Right there for the changeover. They have to be well adapted to snow. I'm thinking positive thoughts for them.

And I totally understand why. There is nothing worse than a snow covered eagle or falcon. I hope the worst of winter is over.

Good morning everyone: We got about 9 inches of heavy spring snow overnight, as you can see from the cams. The sun is trying to peek out now and the snow has let-up so it looks like this one is over! Warm thoughts and prayers to our eagle friends and those eggs. :easterbask:
