Thankyou for your wonderful slideshow of the WE babies, Kittenface!
I contacted the Facebook page of Milwaukee Regional Medical Center to ask if there were still falcons nesting on their "thermal plant" (the old Milwaukee Power Plant). The moderator was able to check with Greg Septon that Asa and 33U (Tahoe) are nesting there and have 4 babies. The babies will be banded on May 30, and the moderator assured me that pictures and details of the banding will be included on their Facebook page. :loveheart:

Thank you so much for this great information Tsusan, I have been wondering about the nest lately. I sure wish they would have kept the cam up.

May 22nd, Valley did get the bands today,
On Monday one male chick was named batman and the girl chick was named eagle.

A third chick is too small to be brought out into the public and named just yet.
(Not sure what this is all about, hope everything is ok)

Resident bird expert and curator of UW-Green Bay's Richter Museum of Natural History, Tom Erdman shared photos and details of the University's newest parents. Rupert and Mimi are the Peregrine falcons currently nesting on the roof of the David A. Cofrin Library.

Wonderful News, Kittenface!! Rupert is one handsome tiercel, and Mimi looks tough as nails- just like her mama! (Wasn't this the year Lightning left Tahoe to raise the 4 babies all by herself?

The moderator of the Facebook page for Milwaukee Regional Medical Center had said they would include information and pictures on their Facebook page later in May. I think it would be neat if a BUNCH of us "like" the post, so they see how many peregrine fans there are....

Hey Tsusan...do they have more than 1 facebook page? the page I found has nothing about the falcons on it...that I can find...

Hi, SGB- In my usual non logical way, I went to the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center site, and saw no references to the falcons. So I scrolled down until on March 17, where they were talking about the "thermal building" (the old Milwaukee County Power plant). On that post I asked if the falcons are still nesting on the building, and got into quite a conversation with the moderator, who seemed to like that someone -me- actually was talking to him/ her. I think that when they post about the banding, etc, that it will be a totally new post, at the top of the page. I sent a FB message yesterday to remind them I'll be looking for the post, and they "liked" that, so I know they saw it....The banding is to take place on May 30, and pictures and information about it will be posted soon after.... I hope this helps... Is there something more I need to ask the moderator?

I got the scare of my life at Pleasant Prairie, saw the eggs but no chicks for hours. Then they turned cam to the back of the box
