Nope ... still just one egg. She only laid one last year - 2 would be nice! Dad was tussling with a stick he brought in. :)

I remember that Pengra was a little drama queen to a point,
so maybe 2 would be a good idea so Cascade and Lady O aren't
so run down waiting on a only child

Well, now that's really odd Susan! According to Marcia she laid her second egg last night at 9:30... here's the video.

And here is Empty's video of an egg roll. There is a color difference in the two eggs. The white one is the new one ... egg #1 is a dirty brown color now. This happened before but I'm not sure why.

Thanks for correcting me, PattiO. I was going strictly on what I could see and from this photo below taken right before the eagle returned in my photo above, it sure is hard to see more than the one white egg. It must be the one right behind the white one. Weird that it is so much darker! It is great news, though, that there are two eggs this year. :eggdance:

Yep, that's it! For some reason they get discolored - possibly from the wet weather and the nesting material.

Oh my goodness I thought Fort St Vrain got bad but this is nuts
and it is coming down hard as I type and she/he was soaking wet as it started
The worse part is no one has seen the othe Eagle for quite some
time now at least the morning

LETS ALL GIVE GOOD THOUGHTS FOR THEM

She was off the nest for a time, I don't know how long. It is impossible to tell if this is the same eagle or the second, hoping its the second one. :-)

We've had a switch! Cascade finally returned to give Lady O a much needed break! See how much smaller he is in the bowl compared to her! Looks like they got quite a bit of snow.
