:teehee: Ma bit Pa through his wingtips right on the butt during the 6:51 minute on the cam. I've looked @ it 3 times!! Hahahaha!! Poor Pa! I don't know what's up, but it was very much on purpose! Pa jerked his head around @ her and I thought he was going to bite her back, but didn't. I don't know what caused it, but he had been looking @ the rails on the right, just before she did it. I can't go any further and I can't go back here, because I keep getting the "COD". If I have time I will try to see if I can get through this visit later. What's wrong Ma? Poor Pa!!

:teehee: Thanks for the video, bev! At least poor Pa is not getting in trouble for daring to even "look @ the rails" now!

Pa in @ 6:56 and pulling up leaves from the nest. Ma joined him a couple minutes later and did same. Pa left after 3-4 minutes. Ma stood around just a few minutes longer before taking off for the day!

Saw on chat that Pa came in @ 2:34 and left @ 4:03 and Ma came in @ 4:00, leaving @ 4:44 this afternoon. On the DVR, I only was able to catch a few minutes of Pa's visit before he left, But he seemed to be sunning his face the way he was holding it. Eventually, he kept looking upward and around as if he were looking @ the limbs @ the top of the tree rather than tracking a bird in the sky. It was kinda odd. I really didn't know what to make of it. When Ma showed up, she mainly stood during her time on the nest. Later @ 7:07, Pa showed up on the branch and then to the nest. He only did some minor work to the floor. Ma flew to the right of the nest @ 7:12 and to the back woods without stopping by. She did not go unnoticed by Pa! He went to the back of the nest and was obviously searching to see where she went and then he flew in that direction to join her!! :15heartbeat:

At about 9:10 Ma returns for a 3rd time to the nest this morning. Pa is already here for his 2nd visit, I believe. They are hilarious. Unfortunately, Ma has caught Pa lying in the bole and is apparently indignant about this situation. First, she grabs his left wing and gives it a little flip. Then in a few minutes, she bites him a few times in the back and he is turning and biting/snapping toward her, but doesn't make contact! In awhile he finally got up and she bit him in the neck. Pa did a little work and got back in the bole. As I leave they are both up and have been biting @ each other face to face @ times. It's very "testy" in here this morning as I leave!! :10val:

:15heartbeat: Ma arrived to the nest @ 7:10, but only stayed about 3". Then during the 7:13 minute, you could see who I am assuming was Pa, fly under the canopy to the same area Ma had headed! All these times are actually after the 8 pm hour in EDT as the cam clock here has yet to be adjusted to DST.

It upset my apple cart too, but I love the extra hour of daylight! Ma and Pa have both been in a few times today and brought sticks for rail placement. They remain testy with each other! :10val: I guess it's over the placements.

Pa came in a little after 6:00 tonight. He re-positioned and placed some sticks to the rails and worked on the floor a little. Then he stood, maybe waiting for Ma, but she didn't show and he left about 20 minutes after arrival.

:15heartbeat: Ma arrived @ 6:32 this morning and Pa could be seen flying in to a branch out of view within seconds. He soon joined her in the nest and they began working on the floor and moving sticks. But, not for long as they decided to stand for a bit before Pa left @ 6:36. Ma watched him leave and stood until leaving @ 6:42. Have a great day, you two!! :15heartbeat:

Pa came in @ 7:20 and hopped into the nest just as the IR came on. He stood there and left after about 3 minutes. I did not see Ma this evening, but know from chat she came in late this afternoon and stayed for quite awhile.

:1val: At 6:09, Ma and Pa have arrived to the nest! Pa begins to work on the floor of the nest and Ma joins in. Then, they stand and look around and Ma preens. And back to standing and looking around. Ma picks up a small stick that Pa takes from her and places to the rail without protest from Ma! Pa leaves @ 6:25. Ma has been standing and looking around since his departure. Ma decided to fly @ 6:41. Have a good day, Ma and Pa!! :15heartbeat:

:15heartbeat: I got to see Ma come in @ 7:06. She dug twice in the nest and that was it, the rest of her stay she looked around for Pa it seemed. She left 4 minutes later. I waited to see if Pa would come in, but he didn't. I did see a blur of white fly under the canopy to the right of the nest tree headed toward the back a few minutes after she left and I would like to think it was Pa headed toward the back woods for the night to join Ma!!

Ma and Pa are both in @ 6:20 nest cam time to check it out! She left after about 3 minutes. By 6:30, Pa has gone to a branch on the right and I can only see his tail feathers now. He flew @ 6:32!

:15heartbeat: Came in @ 6:55 and found Ma and Pa already on the nest. From chat I believe they had just arrived. Also, they said Ma had come in with a stick in her left talon. They stood looking around mainly. The bickering continues as I saw 3 slight instances of such during their stay. Possibly the stick is what set it off. Ma's beak looked a little bloody from a previous meal. Pa flew out the back of the nest @ 7:05 and Ma stayed a few minutes more before leaving out the back and under the canopy and up to one of the trees in the back woods.
