is this nest in same state as other nest. There has to be something causing these deaths

The Webster nest is near Galvaston TX and John Bunker Sands is near Dallas TX, about 4 hours away, inland. Then Captiva is off the Florida coast on the Gulf of Mexico.

Captiva Eagles. Second eaglet Hope dies, maybe overnight. Several watchers noted blood present. I would suspect rodenticide poisoning.

:15heartbeat: From the nest of Harriet and M15, E17 and E18 to be removed from nest this afternoon for treatment. Eye issues were noticed yesterday in both.

On the nest:M15
CROW will be removing the eaglets from the nest this afternoon for rehab, treatment and hopeful re-nesting as soon as possible. They did confirm a possible infection and worked with the local/national wildlife authorities for approval.
