Condor #943 with the lodged half can on his lower beak was finally spotted on 4/12 by Pinnacles biologists for the 1st time since he was last seen on 4/3 at Big Sur sanctuary. Biologists had received a signal that he was near Pinnacles on 4/6. The can was 1st noted on 3/31 and the biologists felt it had been on a few days, so most likely has been lodged for over 2 weeks now. He was spotted very close to their release pen that can also trap condors. They are hoping he will enter the trap within a day or two. Condor #943 is alert and moving well. He can drink, but not eat. New webcam in the Netherlands. On top of the ENKA smokestack (a national monument) in Ede with 3 eggs (dates unknown, but expected to hatch within a month)

We're on Pip watch for Wilmington, USA. With a 5 egg nest, ya just never know when that first pip will be...its usually delayed...

Landshut's first chick was just fed, and it looked like a pick on another egg (due to the bad quality of stream I am not absolutely sure).
I cant watch the next hours, but maybe someone else ;-)
