E67 has been screaming for prey for at least an hour, and mom finally makes an appearance! He/ she is grabbing the prey as fast as mom can offer it, some consolation for a lonely little peregrine :loveheart:

Mom has come in with prey-E67 is So Excited! The cam is turned so that right now both mom and baby are out of sight (come on, man!). Still squawking, and I see moms wing and tail…Got to wonder where E65 and E66 are…..

Oh my! A thunderstorm is passing through, and I think mom wanted to go in the nest box to get out of the rain. However Tiny was awake, and thot he was going to be fed. So mom waited in the rain until Tiny figured out there was no food and hopped down into the nestbox so mom could come in out of the rain…Tiny is still squawking at her…..Now Tiny has stopped, but I still hear someone food begging from farther away….I’m hoping it’s Bertha, E65 up on the roof

PW- not sure where not-so Tiny is, but I suppose the cam guy will find him/ her for us…There he/she is, tucked in a corner…Thank you, Cam Guy…...

Valley- just caught Hercules checking out the nest box, no body home :loveheart:

I think an adult is lounging on the ledge at Oak Creek, too

A few minutes ago I saw a peregrine sized bird take of from the "corner" we can see. But it took off from the 3rd notch down from the top of the building. Ive never seen an adult there, so it must have been one of Tiny's siblings? By the way, Tiny isnt so Tiny anymore, and looking at the feet, is Tiny a girl?

Port Washington- E67 is Really wingercising! And I can hear another juvie food begging somewhere, probably up on the roof….Would Big Bertha (E65)still be food begging at this point? I hope we can find out what happened to E66, the accidental fledge.

Again today at Port Washington I can hear E67 and another sibling calling to parents for dinner. It especially drives E67 crazy when someone lands on the nestbox roof. I have not seen a parent yet this afternoon.

Just happened at PW... E67 is on the ledge. In the distance another juvie starts calling. Here comes mom, flying to the "corner" she has a big piece of prey. Up runs a large juvie, snatches it from mom and runs away! Tiny, E67, squawks in disgust. Im hoping mom comes back with supper for Tiny....

The BEST NEWS! Two juvies in the box, and one is E 66, the baby who fledged prematurely when she was frightened by the people trying to return E 65 after she was grounded. E 66 is Alive and Well! The other Juvie, E 67 is so happy to have his/ her sibling back :biggrin:

Aha- I think I see Big Bertha over on the corner….Surely she is flying by now…? Cam guy went in for an extreme close up of the “ corner” peregrine, it’s a juvie, I assume E65, who I refer to as Big Bertha...She is eating a big piece of prey, and E67 is having a fit. Ha to my untrained eye the band on the corner peregrine reads E66…So E66 has figured out the trick of stepping out on the nestbox perch and up to the roof… She could have at least brought some to Tiny…LOL

PW- E66 (the escapee) is just around the corner from the box, only she is on the building’s roof. She was calling, I think to entice E67 to hop out of the nest box. But he just can’t figure it out…… :loveheart:

E 66 is not very patient- she has already gone back over to the corner… E67 is screaming at her….

And, believe it or not, as I just checked the cam, there is another juvie in the nest box with E67. I think it is his protective older sibling, E66…. :15heartbeat:
