I have no clue either. I've been checking periodically and they both were incubating that lone egg....that's what was throwing me off...

I don't think we knew this. On April 4, they lost their resident male (severe injury and he could not be saved). A new male moved in immediately. Long story short..lots of sporadic incubation. Female did all the incubation until April 12th, where the new male (NM on the blog) started getting the hang of it and began to help.

They do such a great job documenting, down to how many hours the eggs were incubated and by who. Fingers crossed all will be well.
