Hi Nancy...

International Bridge between Canada and Michigan..Hard cam to watch because of conditions, but we've been following for several years. To be honest, I'm not quite sure which "country" the nest box is actually in...LOL...I believe we post under USA MISC...

I believe this is correct:

25/D, the largest and probably oldest bird is the female.
23/D is the middle hatch and is male
24/D is the youngest bird and is a male.

(24/D is the chick Dr. Sharpe rescued after it slipped off the nest awhile back.)

I'm sorry but for people that Love Mom Decorah and DM2 I am shocked to see this most sad news put out by Raptor Resource with a picture mixed in with their Post. Unless this is a hacked picture and write up RRP is saying that N3 Failed? What?? WoW!!! I am Blown away!! Mom Decorah & DM2 aren't incubating?? I wonder how many of you people didn't go in and go through all the pictures because it was not in the main post at all. If you didn't you missed it just like me!! This is Heartbreaking News for me, For all the people that have been following and Love Mom Decorah, Dad Decorah and DM2 for all these years...
I just can't believe that the Failure of Mom Decorah and DM2's Nest didn't Deserve a separate post from Raptor Resource Project to let everyone know what has happened.... No Negativity allowed on our page. It will be deleted. Thank you"

The Eaglet has fallen off the side of the nest when it got caught in one of Mom's Talons as she was leaving. It was found clinging precariously to the side of the steep hill. "Dr. Sharpe is looking for someone to help with a rescue in the morning (Tues) as they had already left the island."
