The female Lesna 1 / SP hit a building during a hunt. She is injured and taken to the Bird's Asylum in the Warsaw zoo.

Terka, how is Lesna doing at the zoo? I am so sorry about Gajowy. I read back, she said he did not have a broken wing, but he was malnourished. What do they think happened to him that caused him to get in that shape and eventually pass away?

Gajowy was very sick.

I translated the section results using a translator. (quite accurately hopefully)

Terka, it translated just fine. Thank you so much for taking the time to answer in this fashion! I used to closely follow her when with Franek in Bielany. Followed the photos of her with Gajowy @ Zeran, but eventually had trouble following. Can no longer see your chat in Poland which was helpful in following here and Warsaw. This season I am able to get some of the cams from Poland again. Didn't realize Lesna and Gajowy had a beautiful new nest box on cam. I think Poland has the nicest nest boxes of all that I have ever seen!

Thanks, Terka! Looked to be a strong flight! Is the red and white chimney we see in the background on the video where her nest is located, although now occupied by another female with eggs by her mate?

Lesna was taken to the city of Olsztyn.
It is 200 km from Warsaw. A good space was found there
and a chimney similar to her house.
The second reason is that Lesna was introduced in Nowe Ramuki near Olsztyn.

Thank you very much for your response and the maps, Terka! Much appreciated and very helpful. Lesna is one of my all time favorites and I'll never forget her nor Bielany! Please keep us posted if you hear anything of her and I wish her all the best as she moves forward with her life.

3 eggs were added to the nest, taken from the nest of Siekierki, due to a problem with incubation.
