:loveheart: Thanks, Beth! Just saw all 3 again while Mom was pebble-picking in the corner. I know they don't have to eat yet, but boy they are really doing some serious chirping for it!

:loveheart2: Mom left and Dad is back! He broke up a piece of shell, then went to the lip. Next he flew up to the ledge it looks like from his wing action. The chicks were alone for a bit, then Mom back in to cover. From the way they were positioned, you could only see 2 of the 3 this time.

:nervous: Alarm call from Mom and she got off the chicks abruptly and left. Can see all 3. Then she came back and covered all of them.

:dancingegg: Finally a feed!! Heard a commotion (him and her shriek vocals) from the other room, came in and Mom's standing with her back to us and you could just tell there was going to be a feed! I saw the offering swing out once, before she started the feed which seemed a shaky start at first, but it was blocked. I'm going to call them 1, 2, and 3 not because of hatch age, but distance from me. The closest is 1 and the farthest is 3.

When the feed came mostly into view, 1 got a too big of a feathered bite. It hung out the sides of its beak. Not to worry as she kept giving it bites and I think it went on down. This chick got several bites. I caught a glimpse of her giving 2 (2) bites and it fell forward each time and then I wasn't able to see if it got those or not. Then she would go back to 1 and give bites. I think 2 got some bites and maybe 3 got a couple, but it was not clear to me. And both of these may have received bites when the feed was blocked early on and partially at other times.

Before Mom finished the feed, 1 was the 1st one to go in a food coma. Behavior said yes the other two must have gotten some bites as both slumped after she left, however 3 woke up and wanted more and cried some with its beak open. Two only woke up very briefly and cried out once or twice.

In the meantime, Dad enters the nest to the left and looked at them. He left shortly, then returned over the lip in front of them and brooded. I think Mom may be off cam somewhere eating as she was gone for awhile. When she returned, Dad left and she took over brooding. I think they are all satisfied, at least I hope so. One thing is for sure, I no longer hear them crying out almost constantly as I did all throughout the day.

:eggthumb: Feed in progress. It was mainly blocked, but I did get to see the one that remained in view get bites. Mom ate a leg and a bite that was too big. It was a relatively short feed. Mom left with the remains and soon Dad came in. He stood a bit and when he tried to cover them, he had a little trouble, but soon made it. Mom returned and Dad left and she is currently brooding the chicks and incubating the egg that I did not notice any pips in this view.

:dancegirl: Same here, sky. I noticed several weeks ago when they were just periodically visiting the nest area that the date and time lapse video are not in sync. We'll have to see if it shows up tomorrow. My wish list for next season is a 12 hour DVR. It makes it so handy when you want to go back and see what you missed or get info. But boy oh boy, I'm loving having sound...what a difference it makes!!

:eggthumb: Mom up and stretched on the lip, then off she goes! Soon vocals heard off cam, then Mom in with prey and a blocked feed is in progress. Could only catch a tiny sliver of the egg. Nice feed and when Mom packs up to go and is exiting, the chicks cries bring her back and she attempts a few more bites, then leaves. All 3 chicks eventually slump. Soon Dad into nest, then up on left lip, then back down to brood. Pebble pecks and repositions a few times. Cam keeps freezing and had to refresh several times. Could see a little larger portion of the egg, but nothing remarkable seen. Mom has been gone awhile so probably eating. Had to refresh again and when returned, poof Dad is gone into thin air. Mom in soon to brood and chicks seem more settled with her over them. (Dad kept busy during his stay causing movement over them.).

:loveheart: At about 5:21 real time (cam time is about 5 min fast), Mom got up and then left, thought there would be a feed , but she came back within a minute or two, so maybe a PS break.

:eggthumb: Possible pip and blocked feed in progress! The feed remained blocked throughout. Mom started to leave with the small remains, but dropped it onto the nest floor, hesitated and left without it.

In a bit, Dad came in and saw the remains. Some of the chicks were lightly vocal, he picked it up and I thought he was going to feed them some more, but he took a few bites, then left with it.

He came back in without it and was rolling the egg and about to brood, but Mom was vocal and returned. Dad left and Mom rolled the egg and is incubating and brooding.

When I saw the egg earlier, it looked as if a tiny chip was sticking up causing a slightly irregular outline of that area against the white of a chick the egg was against and with a tiny white line at the the base of the chip.

This will probably be the last feed of the day. I have seen 2 feeds today in my time here, but was not present for the early morning and assume she possibly fed them during that period. There has been a whole lot of cam freeze here. I left the tab up and when I noticed the sound off would come back in and refresh, but could have missed things.
