Barb (obxbarb) emailed info, complete with pics about James River Bridge.

They banded 3 chicks: 1 male, 2 females.

f: b/g 4?/BK
m: g/b 59/BN (I think...and yes, banded upside down!!

Carolyn, you obviously have the cam link to Brandon. I wanted to watch the Brandon nest, and the current link is not working. If you post it here, I will add it to the cam link on the first page! :thanku

I'm afraid there are no services in the building and the camera is not working. I do take photos from the street and this is my view from two blocks away. I can zoom in to see the nest from here. The nest faces east so early morning sun shining in the box is the best time for photos. :girlyes:

FYI: I had not seen Steve and Callie at Hog Island since May 16th or 17th, a reliable chatter thought they saw Steve on May 23rd. The Hog Island chat remains shut down by Explore for over 1 month now except for a few hours by error and we did not receive any updates on Steve and Callie from the new Mod during the shutdown till last evening on a Q&A session. We now know they are alive and well and have built a new nest a short walk from the old nest. Update, map and photos at site.

The building is empty (up for sale) and the service provider has removed equipment to run the cameras. The camera that is on the box now is probably not working, it was 2015 when the camera worked last. So, it's just me reporting to Tracy (Manitoba Falcon Recovery Project) about the birds. :dancegirl:

More bad news. The second chick just fell off the platform while flapping. These chicks are no where close to being flighted.
