On closer review, NEFL has reversed it's decision and have said they will continue to look for Samson tomorrow. Gabby forced this intruder off the nest after it went there.

:15heartbeat: Rita the female eagle of the pair Ron and Rita from the Miami eagle nest was found Sunday critically injured from blunt force trauma several miles from their nest. She is currently in the care of the Miami Zoo. A TV news report and one from their FB with photos of the exam are posted at the site.
