There won't be a new cam at Toledo this year. The problem is the chips that go in the cam. They have been told by 2 suppliers that it's going to be April before they have the chips. The Toledo group will keep us informed as much as possible about nesting info. :girlsad3:

Female is chewing her nest box like crazy. She is banded, I thought gr/bl, but I guess it’s blu/ bl…..Unbanded male came in with a little food gift, but she seemed grateful- took it and flew away..

Hello, PF followers. Wish I had more to report, but a few issues (some physical) have kept me from getting on campus early in the morning when peregrine-spotting tends to be the most revealing. The student group that I had hoped would be my extra eyeballs are interested in getting a second camera installed - which would be great, of course - but not so enthusiastic about committing to observations from the ground. So for now, if the birds are behaving according to previous years’ schedules, all the eggs have likely been laid, with active brooding in progress. As always, observations from others on campus are welcome.

Their first egg!……. I was watching a video by a Cleveland, Oh weatherman. They are predicting severe weather in much of Ohio tomorrow, (Wednesday), and an enhanced possibility of tornadoes in North West Ohio. This would affect both Bowling Green and Toledo nests.
