Good to see them back on eggs. Both falcons have been there.
I did record but sound did not come through. Sorry.

Yesterday there was lots of loud talking but when doors slammed she flew. There was nonstop noise for about 4 hours. Do not know what they are doing there but they will cause a failed nestt :furious:

16:15 loud talking, stair climbing.
Maybe they should be told

Evanston- mom is on 3 eggs. Seems fairly settled at the moment. I did hear a door slam, though. They nested at another location last year didnt they?

Eggs are alone....again...I was assured several years ago that the sounds/talking we are hearing on cam, are not heard by the falcons..not sure how true that is...I used the DVR to see if I could figure out what is pulling them from the nest. I believe dad was on the eggs...and something external, off cam, alerted him..and he got up an left. No one has returned.

There is a fairly active group that tries to monitor this nest. They've been in touch with Mary Hennenen (that's not right..LOL) who monitors nests in IL...they are trying to keep track of on/offs...but, its a small group.

I don't know, I think they can hear the noise as they are alerted when it starts. thye sure look to that way.

We’re there all night incubating and early morning. Till 7:24 am male heard something and he got up suddenly looked around and I heard him somewhere below, after he flew( April 19)

I am not giving up
Female on eggs 9:15. I think male maybe new and miscuing.

Both are presumed to be the same pair that nested unsuccessfully in 2022 at the Hilton-Orrington Hotel." (not sure what "unsuccessful" means..eggs? no eggs?)
