Carla is from Moxie's and Jamie's 2020 nest in Ft. Wayne! I went back through the pictures for 2020 and couldn't find a picture of just Carla. Well, we know she is young and her ancestry. :CLAPS:

Iam so sad. I tuned in here everyday and saw Morella, but I was away and unplugged

Sweet Morella. She looked like she was going to lay eggs. I wonder if she was eggbound like that female at Cobbs , one year.
She had no battle wounds, so I do not think defending nest was a problem. I never gave up on her. I will look for my last photos . I did not always get a chance to post

I had Morella in box at night on may 4. I posted a picture. I will go back later and check what else I had. Too sad right now
Edit to say , first thing I did last night was go to check on Morella and did not see her

Carla is visiting the nest box. She is looking up and calling and calling. I wonder if I just missed Ecco? Now she has hopped into the nestbox, doing a little nosing around… and a one legged scrape motion. :biggrin:

Yippee Skippee! Carla was waiting at the nestbox and started calling. Here comes Ecco! He jumps into the nestbox and they have a short but meaningful bonding time! :loveheart:
