Jackson- I see 3 chicks actively taking part in the feed. I see one chick laying prone beside them moving very little

PS - I looked on the “Peregrine Falcons of Southeast Michigan” Facebook page, and Lilie’s mate is “Regal”, black/blue 48/C

Mt. Clemens/Macomb County lost it's only chick on 5/20 at 19 days old, and
Jackson County lost it's youngest chick on 5/21 at 15 days old.

Kalamazoo

Chicks were banded on 5/19. 2 males, 2 females..Pic from banding archive.

Mom wasn't messing around..and at one point, she ended up in the floor of the window well where they were standing. Vids are on the website.

Current~they are venturing outside..that is not a fat ledge.

Later he went inside - and changed to perch to our LEFT - pic

3.30 pm One juvie's down on the roof running all over.
I dont know when he went down there. Can he get back up?

4 pm Chick #2 half-fell down to roof with his brother

I love this account of Rebecca’s antics during the banding. I was kind of surprised because she seemed like a rather calm peregrine. But she is the daughter of one of the original “power couples” Zephyr and Guinevere from South Bend! (hatched in 2009) :loveheart:
