OH NO....I am so sorry. I can't watch Jackson, but any idea what happened at Macomb? I checked on it periodically..

Sort of news- They have pulled the cam back at the Ohio River Peregrine nestbox. Before you could only see directly into the box, and by now the chicks were wandering out on the porch, out of sight. The the cam is pulled back tonight, and I had a delightful view of the chicks ranging back and forth while the parent enjoyed peace and quiet on the roof :loveheart:

Re: Bath, UK

We don't usually keep track of non North American PeFa's (we'd be going crazier than we already are..), but since I stumbled across the info:

New Milton, UK is finally back on line.

Looks like at least 2 hatches, but one poor little one is deceased and outside the box. Chatters are not speaking fondly of Dad. While I was reviewing the footage, the only appearance I saw of dad is when he came in to grab the prey that Mom had stashed outside the box.

chick appears to be about the same age as Bowling Green chicks...give or take.

Merton Center~the 3 eggs are gone. I'm assuming they were removed as it was way past hatch time. :girlsad3:

(I also posted this under the WE thread. Stumbled across it in my search for Racine)

Fascinating article on Wisconsin Falcon recovery and our friend Greg Septon...I had no clue he was so involved. Long read..but if you follow any of the Wisconsin nests, its well worth the read.

Single parent raising 2 (I think) chicks. The other parent believed to be hit by car as eggs began hatching.
