Yes,very weird! But if you pull the DVR back, it will show you recorded video from yesterday.(?) I pulled it back until the time at the top of the video said 1:05 pm on 6/09/23. That’s where Moxie came in for a visit for some peace and quiet and some preening. But the “green screen” puzzles me….

Im really disappointed they gave up on the cam so early. Even when I pull the DVR back I only get a loop from June 9….. :egg15:

I'm disappointed, too, Tsusan. Guess who isn't being disappointed--the conversations which have nothing to do with falcons are going strong. Wish if they shut the cam off, they would disable the chat! :furious:

Yes, I’ve noticed the “chat”, too. I translated it- usually they are just talking about their love life…..

Yay!! Who ever is in charge of the Fort Wayne cam has it back on “live” ,(but the clock is 3 hours slow..) Anyway, I pulled the DVR back to about 2:50 pm, and I was rewarded with Jamie stopping in for a visit. He checked out the nestbox, and then went out on one of the girders to relax. BUT THEN, who should stop by(almost missed their landing) but one of his juvies! She ? Kind of crowded up to him, and he flew away, leaving her there squawking!

Does anyone understand this cam? The cam clock says the current feed is from June 18th? Anyway, I did see Moxie and Jamie on the cam. Kind of funny- Jamie was perched just outside the nestbox, taking a break. Suddenly Moxie comes roaring in. Jamie dives into the nest box, Moxie is out on one of the “beams” going “Eeeee eeeee” Finally she joins Jamie in the nestbox, hopefully for a bonding session ( they were out of sight).Jamie jumps out of the nestbox and takes off. Moxie wanders out onto the perch, starts preening and dozing- her turn for a break…. :loveheart:

Yesterday Moxie the weather bird was sheltered in the nest box as the strong storms approached. She was relaxed and preening at first, until the wind driven rain started pelting her. She moved back into her box so she was better protected. She stayed until the skies cleared. This morning Moxie and Jamie had a bonding session in the nestbox… I guess the kids must be doing well :loveheart:

Moxie is sheltering in the nestbox as another storm closes in on Fort Wayne… Makes me wonder how Marshmallow, Stewart and Squirt are . :loveheart:

well, I’m a happy little peregrine peeper! I checked the DVR, and spotted a Juvie landing on what used to be referred to as “Roosevelt’s Wall” ( it was a preferred vantage point of a beloved resident tiercel from ten years ago.) So in flies this juvie (Marshmallow?), makes a beautiful landing on the wall behind the nest box, and has remained there now for several minutes.

A rainy day at Fort Wayne, and we have an adult perched at the nestbox… I’m wondering if it isn’t Jamie this time.

LOL- Guess what I just saw on the cam. A human, dressed ina boonie hat, sunglasses, T shirt and shorts wandered into view and stared at the nest area. The he stepped back and wandered off again…I kinda wonder if he should have been up there?

About 4 hours and 18 minutes ago I caught Moxie and Jamie (confirmed by band info) bonding in the nest box. Jamie stayed foer a short while and side stepped out of the nest box. Meanwhile Moxie stayed in the nest box for 4 more hours just preening and hanging out!

Well, I am waiting for the falcon to turn around so I can see their bands, but no cooperation so far… The bands are red/black, and I’m leaning toward this being Jamie, but I’m not sure…

YAY! I finally caught Moxie and Jamie bonding in the nestbox. Jamie looked a bit ragged, I suppose he is molting.
