The chat people are talking about an intruder. Apparently, Diamond was all agitated and she sent X to cover the eggs. Right now, she's on the tower cam so it could be that she sent "whoever" packing!

Edit: she's back and is watchful.

There was a little excitement here yesterday. A female juvie invaded the nest, non-aggressively, apparently X was on the eggs. He left and I'm not sure what transpired later cause I reached a limit as far as how far I could go back in the comments. I take it the juvie wasn't interested in the eggs and she left without any drama.

One person pointed out that the female usually deals with a female intruder and the male usually deals with a male intruder. In fact (you know this as well as I do), once the female girls in a nest get to bigger than the dad himself, he no longer feeds them unless necessary. :eggthumb:
