Looks like Miss Dixie is napping in the beautiful sunshine in her nestbox…At 1:00 I found Dixie out on the perch, and she seemed to be actively watching the skies, following someone back and forth. She got further out on the perch and flapped her wings. Then after a minute passed, she took off. Wondering- is Hickory entertaining another female? Or is he dueling with another male? Or…? Why doesn’t he come in to see Dixie?

Well, we have two falcons at the nest box. Hickory is inside (I can see his bands) and he is chupping away. Dixie is out on the stick bowing.

Inside cam not good this year. Do not know what they have done.

dixie is very uncomfortable and goes from left to right corner. I have cam up but it will stop overnight.

I've been keeping my eye on Dixie and others and was so thrilled to see the first egg today at UB.

I knew it would be soon as she has been shifting and looking uncomfortable. I don't know who her mate is!! Does anyone?
