I have been going in every day. never have time to take pictures to post but did at beginning. chick was often on back . but go t fed. Not sure if new mom but fed as if she was. but chick is surviving, and so glad only one. A few bare spots on chick but I think it is because of constant shuggling. that gravel seems harsher than others I have seen. pebbles could be smaller and more rounded . They are good at bringing lots of prey in . so they are doing great that way. I still feel it is very noisy there

Thanks so much, Bev...I've been trying to keep an eye on things since the baby hatched. Rough going at the beginning (as it was often on its back)...but, I think things are looking better. I'm with you...so glad there is only 1.

Do they band here.
I am so far behind with my pictures. Take them and never time to post but although chick looks great , a bit concerned with shafts of wings. Hopefully they will fill in. But they have done a great job with this chick. Enough food for 4 but glad only one. I watch here every day for a bit. A rocky start for sure

never did give band but it is a male and called Bibli . they named mother Tekka . adult male was same as before and is Coach. so adult female must be new thi s year.
