Moxie flew off to take a break and Jamie came in to babysit. I love how he just stares at them so lovingly.. then he realizes it’s a chilly morning and the chicks are getting cold. So he carefully scoots against them, tucking a couple underneath. Moxie comes back and gives him his orders: go get breakfast! Feeding time soon…

FYI

The banding of Moxie and Jamie's chicks will be Friday 5-17-24. The chicks will be retrieved at approximately 3:50pm EST. and will be returned to the nest box at approximately 4:30pm EST.

I will provide the names and band numbers when I get back home from the event :15heartbeat:
