Thanks!! Apparently Yankee (Buffalo) was also Banded female...and we know he was male. I was told when they aren't sure of gender, they band Female to be on the safe side..

I was just excited that Poppy had a connection with this nest...thus, the point of my post..LOL

I love hearing about birds we watched as babies go on to find nests of their own (or not). I remember Jo'el from 2021.

1st egg – 3/20/24 @ 11:49 pm
2nd egg – 3/22/24 approx. 10:54 pm (too dark to make it out)
3rd egg – unknown – cameras down
4th egg – 3/28/24 @10:43 am

and Joe'l has laid 2 eggs so far at High Bridge, Xcel

The Baltimore falcon also laid 5 eggs.
4 of them hatch Apr 13 into the FIRST lil white cotton balls of 2024

Oshkosh Wis also laid 5 eggs.

The camera is back live. I believe the STREAM URL has not changed which is a huge win (for me). The server which streams the cameras will be patched in the next couple days. The stream will be DOWN, not the same as LIVE but black. I will work diligently to get it back online but I'm at the whim of the IT gurus :) Keeping our servers and networks safe is ultimately what keeps our feed up and available.

I have switched back to an inside view while piping is forthcoming to decrease our streaming lag times/packet loses.

I have learned a valuable lesson, I will not use this icon " :hatchegg:

" until we actually see a pip as to not freak y'all out thinking I see something you don't!
