Its a VERY nervous femaile.
She DOES NOT trust the light overhead.
She has eyed it suspiciously since day one.

I havent seen any further sign of a hatch, but am watching.

Agreed..but, they both have been nervous this morning...no sign of hatch or feed while I've been watching..I hope no workers were up there that we can't see.

I'm running out of time..gotta get ready for work.

I remember last year - 2023 -
workers tromped around up there -
even messed with the nest box!

Flash shd be rather used to human activity.
NEW female this year.

I cant guess age of female. First brood?
nervous? Is she making Flash nervous??

I dunno why I watch this - its so frustrating.
Cant see inside, no sound, no DVR - no 'helps' at all.

I'm home today - keeping watch.

I saw both, one left with the bloody remains of prey.
I didnt see feeding.

They are OK after BIG storms moved thru USA -
from Texas up to Minnesota. pretty bad.

Im keeping watch. All I can do. sigh.
This cam is really NOT fun til the kids start getting active.

Around 11 am the female returned.
She perched on green - maybe 10 minutes.
FINALLY Flash got up n left.
Flash LOVES his egg time.

I thot - if only human men loved their kids that much.
Some do of course but too many dont.

Two bruisers watching for a food delivery while a parent sits atop the “ironworks” to the left of the nestbox. And I’m noticing how comfortable they look. Temp. in Racine is only 64 degrees F. I guess the northern nests have it easier than the nests to the south.
