I just watched Terka's video, and I think it will be a miracle if the chicks survive Mom! She dragged the prey over the chicks, eating right over one of them. Now it's over all 3 of them. Maybe she thinks that if she provides the prey, they'll eat it themselves. :cryinggirl:

I'm going to do something less stressful, like clean the house. :egg14:

Thanks Terka and Nancy!! Remember they had no chicks last year. Also, while that first feed was dreadful, it wasn't as bad as Spartan Stadium's first feed...Oh my goodness...it was horrid.

Mom was very dainty during the feed early morning. It was a small prey item. Fingers crossed!!
