on the right..I can hear another chick...not hatched yet.

Dad is being so patient..but, she won't let him on the eggs/chick yet.

I'm probably gonna get these out of order. Mom is a tad confused right now...maybe because the chirping egg is so loud? Don't know.

Dad brought food..I think she was hoping the baby would feed itself. She tried twice. She left, Dad came in and was alone with the baby..prepping the food, but she kicked him out. don't think the little one has eaten yet.

All appears calm right now..and baby is back under her.

Shep...I'm thinking this could be a new mom. She's not banded. As precious and always present that dad is, he needs to prep these birds. He's bringing them in whole and she doesn't know what to do with them.

Fingers crossed they get this figured out.

Yeah I hope they figure it out quick.
GSB new mom a couple years ago had the first 2 die cuz they didnt get fed.

there was a whitish egg looked weird maybe did not make it

nope there are 3. got pictures. little one was hard ot see

it was there at feed above and just could n ot see it. very tiny. so we will see
but female fed well ( even though blocked, you could see her movements)

you can see 2 heads and biggest on left is head down ( real small one but head was up)

2 with heads up adn right at back, wee head lying down ( really had to watch)
