I see the falcons feet are black.
If the chicks hatch - but choke to death on the soot in the air,
there shouldnt be a falcon box here

I pulled together past info and posted on RRP
2 died, 2 fledged in 2022, Thunder and Lightnning.

I'm not sure about here. I just went and looked at the archives. I don't think the male is incubating when the female leaves...No telling how long this has been going on.

male brings p[rey to ledge.
so hatch must be close

female out to get prey . male stays a bit and then leaves

eggs are alone but for acceptable amount of time

they both have bands . so we know who.

( there was maybe a turnover )

Thanks Bev...I think there was a turn over...may have to make it my mission to try and read bands. Since eggs were discovered late, there is no telling how long this has been going on.

These are between 7 and 8 am.

Dad is on Roof...at least he "guards" the eggs.

I will try for bands also at woodman. Earth cam does not allow cam to stay up, but about 10 monutebs

That was my thought Shel, and if he guards and hunts, that is all that is needed

Thanks Shep and Bev for keeping watch on Woodmen..I think it is a new male..and I think the same thing happened last year. 4 eggs, no hatches...usually we try to note these things on the calendar, but we failed to do so last year..we could probably back track through this thread to find out...but that is very time consuming.

Bands are tough to read on this cam.
