red and yellow juvie was rescued. Feather development not quite up to snuff and was transferred to Red Creek for more thorough tests and exam.

2 hatches overnight or early morning. first saw a shell at 2:14am
but she got up briefly at 7:42am and saw 4 fluffies, one egg

Incredibly sad news to report. One of the female chicks passed away suddenly. She seemed just fine this morning when I was watching them. I found the footage..she was breathing very hard.
From FB: Her name was Elyse.

She passed within the past 1 1/2 hrs...so, caution if going to that cam... :sorrow:

I'm with you, Bev...now I'm scared to go check Montreal....I just hope it wasn't something contagious.

Latan was banded today. 2 males, 2 females...I tried reading the bands, but no luck.

Darn. I knew they were just too eager to leave , but I still think the cage is best solution at the site.

Lincoln: Banded today. 2 females, 1 male. No band info.
Mean Jean was there and did a great vid. Its posted on the Peregrine Falcons Lincoln NE FB page.

6/12/24 - Hellgate site...

MISSOULA, Mont. — Iris the Osprey, whose nest is at the University of Montana has welcomed a chick. We're told she has not raised a chick since 2018.

Iris and Finnegan welcomed their new chick, just after 3 a.m. Wednesday.

According to researchers, Iris is one of the oldest Ospreys known in the world, they guess she is at least 28 years old.
