fledge watch started yesterday. Peter and I will no t be a part but Peter will do rescues if need be

male fed a nicer feed today. He is learning. he left his prey there

I didn't know that the male is feeding. Yeah!

he sort of fake fed the other day but yesterday, he gave quite a few nice bits. It is a start

Miscercordia July 19
Although we are retired, we went looking for female that had just fledged. Stayed a few hours, and then we went back in evening.
I will post a long story here later about problems we were running into with workers at WEM

So this morning , we got a call from person doing watch at 6 am
To make a long story short, Peter was involved in a rescue. They brought falcon here, and Gord picked up an hour later.
Will post pictures later.
This female is a descendent of Radisson
It will be going to Pembina. Not safe here right now ( explanations will follow)

very smokey, hot and windy here.
Jasper National Park has been evacuated .
young miss was just fed around 7am

I am so excited to still see him
very edited video but ate for about 40 minutes . came in at 9:12:43 and ate till 9:53, moved to mid pillar and then walked to north out of view.
could still hear him at 10:27

Fledge watch started yesterday.
This morning had a female intruder. All seems well at the moment
Kid has been flapping and so losing lots of fluff.

Chick is 39 days old today.
Not near ready to fledge . Hopefully waits for another week. It has lost a lot of fluff.
Nest is nasty.
