Mom has to keep the kids shaded when the sun is high, well, much as she can get under her since they're getting so big!

Despite this is the first year for this Dad, he's doing a good job, keeping the larder filled and even sometimes (when Mom lets him), feeding the kids! :egg5:

Very soon the chicks will start to explore the length of ledge. We call "The Gutter Stomp" and a behavior unique to this site
because of the long recessed gutter.
