The yo7ng male , who fledged at Orange has been found on the ground He is in care , being assessed. There was concern about his feathering .
I will try and post further information on topic page if time. He looked good , except for shafts

New Peregrine falcon webcam/nest for 2025 :) :egg7:

The Raptor Resource Project has partnered with Winona State University and explore.org to bring you the Castle Rock Peregrine Falcon cam, live from the iconic Castle Rock along the Mississippi River. Castle Rock is one of the earliest historical eyries that Peregrine Falcons returned to following the Raptor Resource Project’s cliff-release efforts in the late 1990s. Falcons began nesting in 2002 and have nested successfully almost every year since. The tall rock eyrie overlooks the Mississippi River and the city of Winona.

Orange

Garrama was examined and was found to have a deformed spine. He couldn't have flown like a normal peregrine. The decision was made to euthanize him. :tissue:

So sad, as there was no sign of anything amiss( except for shafts of tail feathers) .

Eagle Country cams are up ( They are such good stewards, as their property saw a lot of trees down and other damage, but after they got themselves in order, they worked on the cams) :15heartbeat:
