A male osprey may have claimed nest.
He's perched several times and chirped.

At least one male osprey has been seen on nest perch.
Today he sat there 90 minutes when another osprey flew near and ours chirped then flew off.

I'd take a screen shot, but the cam is covered in salt - blurry.

A male osprey has claimed this nest.
He is defending against all comers.

Other birds and fishing boats are returning after Hurricane Milton.

defending his nest -
and fending off females!

F3 has returned - will she end up his mate?

It appears fishing is poor - low tides - and he's been feeding back by the bridge

January 5 they saw Cappy ( M2 ) mid afternoon with F4.
He tried to mate with her.

I began to lose hope this male would find a mate -
then today Edie from last season showed up - HOT to mate!
