They are SO MUCH FUN at this stage -
but sadly - not always visible to us.

I think the female here was named for the Elk River person.

Yesterday evening
2 flew home - #3 joins them - #4 comes crashing in
All 4 perch - gone by dawn

I still cant READ the band, but today I got this snip -
these 2 sat in these spots a long time between 8 and 9 am

11 am They are both still there.
Female went inside briefly - alone.
Male stayed on cement curb beside house.

2 pm She stayed all day!
The male flew to some place in front of her as she perched on the box - and he sat and preened - and we only saw his shadow. There must be an outer bar we cant see.

Yes - VERY COLD!

They come daily - female stays most of the day.
Flies off for a short while - maybe for her pilatis class, but returns.

They are amusing. Not ready to BOTH be inside box at the same time.
