9:53 Pa to the left branch, then done to the nest and works on the bowl a little. 9:54 He stood looking around. 10:00 He flew to the left branch, then flew out toward the rear in the next minute.

10:56 Mom to the nest followed in by Pa seconds later in the 10:57 minute. Mom picks at bowl while Pa watches. 10:59 Mom aerates the bowl and got down in it. Mom up and Pa working on the rails. 11:00 Pa to the left branch looking around and flew out in the next minute. Mom watched carefully to see where he went. (Per chat) 11:06 Pa with a stick to place. 11:08 Pa flew. 11:19 Mom flew.

11:31 (Per chat) Pa in with fluff and is on alert. He eventually worked on the bowl and got in it. 11:55 Pa flew.

3:53 Mom to the nest looking around as if she is uncomfortable with something. 3:54 To the left branch and flew.

5:15 Pa to the left branch. 5:19 Pa to the nest, an eagle could be seen flying under the nest and up to a tree in the rear, Pa saw so must be Mom. He worked on the bowl. 5:25 Pa to the left rear rails. 5:27 He flew to the same area Mom had. 5:28 A vocal or two heard from back there.

7:34 Pa to the nest, he picked at the bowl, then stood. 7:36 Mom to the nest, they work on the bowl, then stood. 7:39 Mom to the left branch while Pa works more on the bowl. 7:40 Pa makes his way to the left branch, then mounts Mom and mates and down to the nest again. Both stood for a while, then Pa does more bowl and rail work. 7:57 Mom to the nest to assist. 7:59 Pa to the left branch and flew out the front in the next minute. Mom watched, then stood. 8:07 Mom to the left rear rails and flew seconds later toward the rear.

Per chat, Pa and Mom returned to the nest later in the morning staying a while before leaving, then Pa returned 1 more time for a shorter visit.

5:05 Pa to the nest and starts working on the bowl, Mom followed him in and she assists. Pa did some rail work, then they stood. A little more rail work and Mom assists. Pa back to the bowl to work while she works on the rails. Pa got down in the bowl pressing his chest against the wall while kicking it out with his feet. Pa stood, then Mom works on the bowl and spreads a little fluff about the floor. 5:19 Pa to the left rear rails and flew out in the next minute to the rear. Mom's crouched in the bowl and watched him go. 5:24 Mom flew to the rear.

7:48 Pa to the nest with a stick to place. 7:51 He works on the bowl. Mom to the nest and joins Pa to work on the bowl. Then they stood and Mom gleans bits from the floor to eat. More bowl work for them. 8:01 Mom to the left branch. 8:04 Pa walks up the left branch, then mates with Mom. He dropped off and flew out. Mom preens. 8:10 Pa to the nest with a fluff delivery. 8:11 He spreads it about the floor. Mom down to assist. Then they stood. 8:17 Pa to the rear rails and flew seconds later as Mom watched. 8:24 Mom to the left branch and flew seconds later.

10:37 Pa to the nest with a stick to place. He spreads fluff and aerates the bowl. 10:38 Mom to the nest. She joins in. They are busy with aeration, rail adjusting, more aeration. 10:46 Mom flew and Pa watched her go. Pa stood looking around till he flew out at 10:59.

11:22 Mom returns to the nest and seems a little short of breath. She spreads fluff, aerates, then kicks backward to help shape the bowl. 11:27 Pa with a fluff delivery that they spread. 11:30 Mom to the left branch. 11:35 Pa eases onto the left branch, then mounts Mom and mates. After, he went back down to the nest. 11:40 Mom preens and Pa works on the bowl. Then she flew. Pa watched then stood around looking about. 11:53 Pa flew.

3:14 Pa to the nest looking alert. Eventually he settles and continues to look around. 3:36 Pa flew.

1:52 Pa to the nest with prey. Possibly rabbit. Pa ate. 2:11 Pa to the left branch leaving the remains on the nest. He feaked on the branch. 2:12 Pa flew. 2:13 Pa returns to the nest abruptly striking limbs as he comes in. He is alert and looking about as if an intruder is around. 2:14 To the left branch. 2:21 He flew.

4:03 Mom to the nest. Oddly, she seemed to have dropped straight down from a limb above (off cam). She took the remains of the prey from yesterday and ate. 4:10 Mom to the left branch and feaks. 4:11 Mom flew. The AC is down.

6:04 Pa to the nest after dark. He went and looked in the bowl where the prey had been. Perhaps he came to finish it off from yesterday, but Mom has beat him to it. 6:05 Pa flew.

7:15 Pa to nest, then to bowl to clear of debris. Next, he stood. 7:18 Pa to the left branch. 7:19 Pa flew.

5:52 Pa to the left branch for a nest check. 5:53 Down to the nest and picked at the bowl a few seconds. 5:55 Pa flew to the rear. No welcoming vocals heard.

Pa has company!

7:46 Pa to left branch. 7:48 He reacts and tracks something he sees flying. 7:49 Intruder flew overhead from Pa's reactions of tracking and using his high pitch vocals. 7:49 Pa flies out over nest knocking back intruder to the right rails as it tried landing on the nest. Pa back to left branch. Intruder appears to be female and 4-5 years old. She went to the bowl and alerted. Pa vocal. She aerates bowl while Pa softly cries out. 7:52 Pa flew. She watched him go. 7:55 She flew.

8:34 Intruder back to nest. Aerates bowl, then works on rails. Stood looking around, then more rail work. 8:51 She hopped up branch and near cam and we see close up view of her. Then back down to the nest. She stood near the rear left rails looking around. 9:18 To left branch. 9:19 She flew.

Per chat: A short visit to the nest by Pa late this afternoon just before all 3 cams went down for technical upgrades. It is unknown how long the cams will be down.

Pa and Mom have not been seen on the nest at the same time since late morning on Wednesday the 18th of December. Her last solo visit was late afternoon on Friday the 20th. I can't shake the possibility that she may have started or laid eggs on a 2nd nest. Hopefully we will find out something one way or another soon.

And the cams are already back up. Berry came into chat and posted the following:

berry-college (Admin): As a note, all streams are now switched over to Vimeo, which purchased Livestream a while back. Livestream was being discontinued here at the end of the year.

At 1:20 I noticed the same female intruder that Pa tried to keep off the nest recently is back. There is no DVR yet, so unable to go back and see her arrival. She was noticed by chat at 12:51. Eventually she went to the bowl and is lying in it.

She stayed in the bowl for a very long time, then stood for a short while. 3:42 She flew.

Possibly Pa was on the nest when she first arrived, he flew within seconds. Will try to read back on Berry chat later to see.

Per Chat: Early this morning the young female intruder came to the nest for a short time. Then Pa was seen mid-morning for a short time.

5:04 At this time I saw Pa arrive to the left branch with his back to us. He looked great! He never went down to the nest, just looked around. 5:28 Pa flew.

Really hope Berry is able to add the DVR through Vimeo in January.

No eagle visits to the nest today. I still believe they have another nest and probably have been incubating there since sometime last week.
