YW, Beth! The youngest of the immatures is spending the night on the tree. He arrived very late afternoon to the nest. Neither Pa nor Mom showed up tonight to chase him away, so he stayed. He is very persistent about overnighting on this tree when he can. Currently he is on one of the left rear, branches.

Right now (3:55 AM) the youngest immature is spending the night on the nest tree. He arrived for the stay while still daylight on 2/8. The night before that, Pa spent the night evening of 2/7 into 2/8 all night long. Pa also returned mid-morning (2/8) for a few minutes.

The youngest immature showed up again and is spending the night on the nest tree. Currently it is on a branch in the middle of the tree above the nest. It can be seen on the AC.

I missed it, but chat is reporting that the older immature showed up late this afternoon and after being here a while Pa came in and knocked it away. There was some discussion if Pa or Mom, but I think they settled on it being Pa. An adult eagle is spending the night on the tree. I haven't seen its face yet, but it is reported to be Pa. If so, he is currently on a left rear, branch with his back to us at 2:43 am.

Pa left this morning but soon returned twice on alert and looking around. An intruder could be seen doing flyovers from the AC. One chatter thought they saw 2 flying at one point. The times I looked was only seeing one. Still no DVR but supposed to be coming sometime within the first half of this year.

It was rainy Wednesday late afternoon on 2/12 but the younger, wet, immature stopped by the nest. Thought it would stay overnight but after a short visit it flew to one of the trees behind the nest tree and possibly spent the night there.

The youngest immature showed up late afternoon/early eve to spend the night. After having been here a while suddenly Pa shows up and sends the immature on its way. Pa is now spending the night on the nest tree but in a different location than usual and he is hard to see at times. Currently he is on the lowest right, limb at the back of the nest swaying in the wind.

I saw Pa throughout the night last night, so he did spend the whole night, but nobody was around when he left this morning. Not to worry as he returned around noon today and stayed about 20 minutes per chat. He was quite vocal at times, so maybe he saw one of the immatures in the area. Nobody came in tonight.

Pa came in several times this afternoon. Once with a fish that another eagle was seen on his tail. I didn't get to see that part. He came and went with alerts before finally staying. He ate some more of his fish and the remains are on the nest. He's been all over the tree but looks to be settling on the left branch for the night.

Pa did spend the entire night on the nest tree last night. He left this morning only to return minutes later for a quick visit. Possibly one of the immatures was in the area. Per chat, he returned mid-morning and ate the remainder of his fish he had left on the nest. The AC remains down.

Pa stopped in today (17th) and while he was there the oldest immature came onto the nest with him. Pa slammed into her a couple times trying to send her on her way, but she would not budge. Pa ended up leaving and she stayed a bit tidying the nest before leaving.

Today (18th) was interesting as Mom stopped by the nest and was vocal and looking around. Soon she is ducking from whoever is flying overhead and vocal. At one point, I saw 2 flying overhead one being larger than the other. Soon one of them tried landing on or near the nest but Mom sent them tumbling downward through the branches on the left. And that was that as we didn't see them again. Mom spent quite a while on the nest and LB before leaving for the day.

YW, Beth! Today (19th) a headless fish showed up on the nest that none of the chatters heard nor saw come in. Later Pa shows up and most likely it was he who brought this fish in earlier. Pa came and went maybe a few times. I myself saw him fly out as it was getting dark and was disappointed that he had decided not to stay overnight after all. I waited for about half an hour to see if he would return but I did not see him. However, at some point well after dark he was seen by chatters on the tree again and then he was not seen. When I came in after 1 am, I found Pa on the left rear, limb. Soon he moved down onto the nest. In a bit he flew up to a limb on the right side of the tree and could no longer be seen from cam 1. Eventually from the AC I saw him on the right side of the tree, but he has to move to be seen. It seems he is spending the night after all but surprising he flew in well after dark to do so. His fish remains on the nest floor.

The 20th found Mom coming in to eat the fish that remained on the nest from Pa. She stopped by more than once and chat reported she tangled with a red-tailed hawk. Today (21st) she popped in a couple times during the noon hour. Pa came in tonight soon after the IR came on. He brought a fish and was eating it, but I'm unsure if he ate it all or if some left on the nest. He went to the LB, then up to a middle branch on the front of the tree above the nest. He has remained there through the night so far. He was vocal at 4:03 am, but I don't know who he was fussing at ... hopefully it was just Rocky.
