Interesting that this is also a WE Energies box. Guess the trademark for their nests is the green indoor/outdoor carpeting!

Oh, that's interesting, Kittenface. Here we could have had a lot more chores left undone in favor of watching nesting cams! This site is going to be one I'll be watching next season providing they nest here again!

I'm thinking Pulliam might be one of the WE Energies nests, too, but I need to stop trying to figure out these falcon nests & get some chores done. I'll do some more research later!

Just started reading the report & am anxious to finish later, but have to go out now. I did read the PP one & it struck me that both adults are youngsters! Dave is 3 & Thilmany is 2, so maybe that's why she didn't have many eggs & that her egg didn't hatch...

(However, she is obviously a very dedicated mother!)

Thanks for the pics, Kittenface & SGB! It was nice to see them bonding in the box, cause as we know from reading the report, they nested on a silo this season, so it wouldn't have done us any good to be watching this cam anyway... :o

Now I'm not understanding this it says glass was in the nest so falcons moved to the silo and laid 3 eggs but the picture of the 3 eggs show glass by them, now my question is did the put the eggs back in the nestbox or was there glass at the silo too?
Does this rambling make any sense to anyone

Kitten, I didn't understand that there was glass in the box. I do remember the report saying that they nested on the silo near broken glass. I'll have to go back & look, but I don't think they had an explanation as to why the box wasn't used.

It said that they nested in gravel & broken glass. :o It also said that they were seen visiting the box in February, but they disappeared in mid-March!
