At Nest time 12.15 AM, 03.45 AM and 04.30. In last pic it's raining... during I have been watching never seen her moving.

Reading back yesterday evening under the MN blog's "Observations" thread, starting at page 9.
Some fishermen were way too close to the nest and casting fishing lures at it -Then there was something else that upset the loons, and they took off.

Thanks for the update, Beth. It just astounds me that fishermen would be casting lures at the loon nest - there ought to be a law against that!

I'm hoping for news of a hatch today, but I'll be so sorry to see the loons leave the nest when both eggs have hatched.
